Artist Statements -------------------
I am going to be staring off with talking about "Big Bricks" . I chose to use this as one of my archaectires because this is taken at the Hands On Museum, I used to go there all the time when I was younger and it has always had a special place in my heart. I loved doing this photograph and this was a very easy shooting for me because it looks pretty and it was in a place that was easy to pull out my camera and take a picture.
Now I am going to be talking about the archatecture "Blending In". It is a super pretty building as well. I love how the archatecture is. I had almost no difficulties taking this photo, the only thing is that police kept walking past since that is the only place for the police to be in Ann Arbor.
Next I am going to be talking about "Diamond in the Rough". This building is in uppertown and I must have passed that a million times growing up going to my favorite sushi place "Plate". It has always me with its beauty and the artwork in the back of it truly makes it so so pretty and I love it.
I am going to talk about "Pathways to Greenery" now. I have crossed this again a lot growing up and I have always loved it. The roof is probably my favorite part. It has a ton of pretty tiles and I think that it is very cool. I love this and I love all of the arches as well in the building.
Lastly, I will talk about "Minecraft Mushroom" this is a building on UofM campus. I love the archatecture all over camus but this is defininitly my favorite. I love how the acrchatecture looks, the windows reflect everything and act as a mirror and I love how it looks. I called it minecraft mushroom because that is what I called it when I was younger and it just kind of stuck.
